  • I don't understand how to donate. Can you explain the options?
Sure! There are three main ways to donate. 1) Visit the Greater Prescott Outdoor Fund donation page provided by the Yavapai County Community Foundation (YCCF): https://yccf.kimbia.com/prescottoutdoors and follow the instructions on that page. 2) Mail a check. Address your check to the Greater Prescott Outdoors Fund and put the following address on your envelope. Someone will be in touch with you as soon as it arrives. Greater Prescott Outdoors Fund c/o Arizona Community Foundation/Yavapai County 300 E. Willis St., Suite B Prescott, AZ 86301 3) Pay over the phone or set up a meeting with the Yavapai County Community Foundation regional director, Carol Chamberlain at (928) 708-9632 You can also always call the Fund's president, Gary Worob, if you'd like to set up a meeting in person and talk about other ways to give. • I'm looking for funding. Do I qualify? How much can I ask for?
Good questions! A wide-variety of organizations & projects qualify to receive GPOF funds. Other than reading through our mission, goals, and past work, the best way to know if you qualify is to reach out and ask. We have given amounts anywhere from $100-$5,000 to local organizations & projects, and we do not have specific limits to our funding. This is really dependent on the scope of your project and the impact it will have on our Greater Prescott Outdoor Community. We don't like to recommend amounts because you know your project expenses & impact more than we do, but if you're really stuck on this you can always reach out and ask.

  • I have more questions. Who can I talk to?
Gary Worob is the Fund's president, he's been working in philanthropy & community development for decades. He'd be happy to discuss anything regarding the Greater Prescott Outdoor Fund with you, and he can tell you a lot more than our website can. You can give him a call at (928) 899-3341 or email him at gworob@yahoo.com
