Greater Prescott Outdoors Fund

Serving people & the planet.
Because the outdoors is for everyone.

This Greater Prescott Outdoors Fund is to enable planned giving towards a stated project or purpose. Several area non-profits have combined funds to create a new mechanism for fundraising through the Arizona Community Foundation/Yavapai County. ACF/YC receives and invests donations into the overall fund. A new Committee has been established to represent donors and specific fund purposes. They monitor ACD investments, oversee donor contributions, determine fund breakdowns, and process grant requests for fund distributions used for community recreational improvement projects.

Donations can be made to specific item(s) within a category, a broad category, a donor specified project, or to the overall fund. Our three categories of Community, Education, & Outdoors cover areas such as Open Space, Natural Parklands, Education, Bicycles & Pedestrians, Trails,  Donor Directed, Open, & more.

See these three categories for even more ideas for how you can give the gift of the outdoors, learning, & community for all!

We support a wide variety of events that engage community members of all ages & backgrounds through collaborative & educational activities.

We support the future. It's essential to create opportunities for children & youth to experience, learn about, and care for the outdoors.

The outdoors is for everyone. We support people & organizations that care for natural spaces & make the outdoors accessible.

"This was the best event I've ever seen downtown for kids probably ever. The activities were so creative and really catered to learning through play. I also loved how engaging the volunteers were and how much they encouraged the kids to ask questions. My kids would have stayed there all day if they could have. Thank you!"
